Professional Experience

Karen founded Mosaic Global Solutions in 2013. She previously served as Managing Director for Global Talent Development at Aperian Global, and has worked as a Senior Consultant in intercultural consulting, coaching and multinational teambuilding for two decades. She has designed and facilitated learning and consulting projects for intact teams, team leaders, and individual contributors on subjects including globalization, negotiations, conflict resolution, multinational teambuilding, global leadership and virtual communications. Karen is a frequent speaker at various industry conferences such as SHRM, ASTD. Linkage and the Summer Institute of Intercultural Communication.

Academic Background

Karen holds a Master’s degree in Training & Organization Development from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Human Resources from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  She is a certified CTI Co-Active Coach and certified in the Culture Map model by Erin Meyer.  Karen has participated in a certificate program with the NeuroLeadership Institute and has experience with several psychometric instruments, including being certified on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
